Senior Center News – Full slate of upcoming events on tap

By Kamela Easlic

It’s hard to believe that the long summer days are becoming shorter and that school is starting in just a few days. Volunteers of the senior center are busy preparing for late summer and early fall fundraisers. Topics such as Rummage Sale, Apple Festival, hot chocolate, hot soup, and Christmas Bazaar are discussed as if those activities are right around the corner.

Unfortunately, all of the above will be here and gone in the blink of an eye. That is why it is important to get up, get out, and find activities that bring a sense of accomplishment and happiness. The senior center is the perfect place to volunteer, learn, explore and discover aging on your own terms. Celebrate Life!

Here are a few activities that will help you to live the life you desire!
