Senior Center News – Center recruiting for chartered trip to Pigeon Forge (Dec. 24, 2014 issue)

Time is running out to reserve your 3 day/2 night trip to Pigeon Forge.
It includes transportation on a charter bus, four shows, hotel accommodations and four meals for only $269. Remember, you do not have to be a member of the senior center or an older adult to join in on the fun, as an adult of any age is welcome. Please call us for additional details and to reserve your seat.
Be advised that the senior center will be closed Dec. 24–26 for Christmas. However, we look forward to serving you when we return on Monday, Dec. 29.
We have many activities to offer, including a New Year’s Eve party with a country music performance by Charles Edwards on Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 9:30 a.m. so please drop by and check out all that we have to offer, as we are always looking to welcome new members.
As 2014 wraps up, I would like to thank everyone who has supported the senior center. Without each of you volunteering, attending fundraisers and participating in the various programs offered at the center, we could not support the older adults of Unicoi County so successfully. With your continued support, we anxiously anticipate the many new and exciting opportunities that 2015 will unveil.
For additional information relative to these events or to inquire about older adult options, please call the senior center at 743-5111 or visit us at 220 Union St., between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
