Off the Field – Lyle breaks team record

By Curtis Carden

Even overseas, Logan Lyle continues to break records on the hardwood.

The Unicoi County High School Blue Devil basketball team’s leading scorer put on a 3-point clinic during his career with King University and is now showing his accuracy in the “Land Down Under”.

Lyle, who is currently playing with the Ringwood Hawks, a professional basketball team in Australia, smashed the team’s 3-point record over the weekend in a 48-point win. The former Blue Devil knocked down 12-of-18 shots from behind the arc, breaking the previous record of 11 set in 2014 by Bryan Dougher.
