An honest day’s work

Spring sports are around the bend for Unicoi County High School and two new head coaches are in place for a pair of programs.
Paul Shelton will take over as the head coach of the track and field program this season. Shelton was an assistant coach with the program last season; working primarily with the runners.
On the tennis courts – former assistant coach and UCHS Blue Devil tennis player Jonathan Kenney will assume the reins of the tennis program. Kenney replaces Elizabeth Pruitt, who resigned following her stint during the 2014 season.
The Erwin Record will be presenting a special spring sports preview supplement scheduled to run during March.
