UCHS graduate gets gold medal in barbering in SkillsUSA competition

Kenlee Blake Hall, a 2020 graduate of Unicoi County High School, came away a gold medalist in barbering during SkillsUSA state virtual competition held recently.

This is her second year winning the medal in this competition. She will compete in national SkillsUSA competition, also virtual, which will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, June 21-24.

Kenlee is a student in Toni Campbell’s Cosmetology training program at Tennesseee College of Applied Technology in Elizabethton. Her UCHS cosmetology teacher for four years was Julie Garland.

Kenlee is the daughter of Holly and Josh Peterson, Erwin, and Donnie and Kim Hall, Johnson City. She is also currently employed by CS McCullough’s in Johnson City.
