‘Bear Tails and S’mores’ set at Rocky Fork

Join Park Ranger Jeff Sweeney for an evening bonfire at the interpretive area next to the parking lot at Lamar Alexander Rocky Fork State Park on Friday, Sept. 24. 

Billed as “Bear Tails and S’mores,” this event will feature a short talk on black bears and the park ecosystem. Graham crackers, chocolate, marshmallows and s’mores sticks will be provided.   To participate sign up at the park website at https://reserve.tnstateparks.com/register/bear-tails-

The fee is $4 for a family or $2 for an individual. The cost for attending will help the park cover the cost associated with the program.

Participants are asked to gather at 6:30 p.m. for an event expected to last until 7:45 p.m.
