UCHS golf teams prepare for district tournament

Postseason time hit the fairways for schools across the area this week.
Unicoi County High School Blue Devil and Lady Blue Devil golfers took to Carter County this week to compete in the District 1-A/AA golf tournament on Tuesday, Sept. 29, after The Erwin Record’s press deadline. As a lead up to the event, golfers from both teams were able to get in some reps with matches at Buffalo Valley Golf Course last week.
During a match on Thursday, Sept. 24, the teams welcomed in Hampton and Happy Valley in conference action. For more information on the district tourney and potential regional tournament qualifiers, be sure to check out The Erwin Record Sports Facebook page online and a future edition of the paper.
