After struggling early in the season, Devils bounce back to win 10 out of last 12 games.

Momentum is behind the Blue Devils as District 1-AA Tournament play begins this week.
Unicoi County (14-12, 6-4) capped off their conference schedule with a 62-39 blowout victory over Johnson County in Erwin on Friday, Feb. 8, during senior night.
UCHS wrapped up the week with a 60-53 win over non-conference rival Hampton High School.
The Blue Devils wrapped up the regular season on Monday, Feb. 11, after The Erwin Record’s press deadline with a road trip to Cloudland to square off against the Highlanders.
District 1-AA tournament action is set to begin on Friday, Feb. 15, at Elizabethton High School.
The Blue Devils, the number-three seed, will face Happy Valley at 8 p.m. on Friday. If they win, the Blue Devils will play Elizabethton on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
The highly-anticipated rematch between the Longhorns and the Blue Devils went in favor of UCHS thanks, in part, to an early 15-6 advantage at the end of the first quarter.
The Blue Devils capitalized in the second quarter and maintained a comfortable lead throughout the rest on the contest.
