Golf tournament set for Sept. 10 at Dandridge club

The 43rd annual David DeZan Charity Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Dandridge Golf and Country Club.

Golfers are invited to join a day of fun and fellowship while supporting the Dandridge Lions Club in helping the organization make a difference in the lives of many children and adults in the community.

Team prizes will be awarded for: first place, $600; second place, $500; and third place, $400.   

Individual prizes will be awarded for  closest to pin of all par three holes        and men, women and senior’s longest drive.               

 All golfers are eligible for door prizes.

 Lunch will be served from noon until 1p.m. with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided on the course throughout the afternoon.

 All teams will be handicapped, based on honest reports of average scores.

Participants may enter individually or as a team; individuals will be assigned to a team.

 Entry fee is $75 per player, which includes lunch, green fees and cart.
