Devils drop contest to Betsy
A well-oiled orange and
black machine hit a roadblock
early, but found paydirt in the
end.
Three scores in the second
quarter propelled Elizabethton
High School to a 42-7 victory
over Unicoi County High
School on Friday night at Dave
Rider Field.
The Blue Devils (3-6, 2-4)
had a stout defensive effort
early in the first quarter. The
squad forced a four-and-out
goal-line stand on the Cyclones
first possession and
limited Elizabethton to just a
7-0 lead in the first quarter.
