Blue Devils participate in Trailblazer Invite

Blue Devil cross country members, under head coach Gary Howard, recently participated in the 39th annual TrailBlazer Invitational held at Daniel Boone High School on Saturday to end the regular season.
The Devils were running alongside some of the perinnal powerhouses, including Greeneville High School and Dobynns-Bennett throughout the morning.
Taylor Lafever brought home the fastest time overall for the team, clocking in with a time of 19:56.
The underclassmen-laden boys squad were also followed by Jeremiah Powers who brought in the second best time on the boys side with a 20:51-minute run during the 5K run.
The boys side was also followed by Cristobal Razo and newly donned Blue Devil, Jacob Mills, who each ran nearly the same exact time with Razo coming in just a second quicker by having a 20-minute run.
Freshman, Austin Hendrickson, continued a recent strand of successful meets by finishing with a 20:10 time, and Austin Garrabrant wrapped up the boys side of things with a time of 22:16.
The action didn't stop with the boys side, with the girls participating in the George Moody 5K run.
Whitley True showed her running skills once again by being the No. 1 runner for the ladies, finishing with a time of 23:01.
With the cross-country race featuring veterans from each school, the first year crew of the Lady Devils brought in a respectable showing throughout the chilly morning at Daniel Boone.
Allison Tuttle brought in the time of 25:02, with junior, Haley Adkins, following right behind by a 26:22 time.
The Harris', Kamille and Hannah, brought in respectable showing of, in order, 27:48 and 30:06.
Hannah Fender wrapped up the girls side of things with a time of 34:25.
The meet will wrap up the regular season for coach Howard's teams, with the upcoming conference race around the bend at Sullivan North High School.
