William “Willie” Lee White

William “Willie” Lee White, age 51, of 514 Orleans Street, Johnson City, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, Feb ruary 26, 2014, at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born February 24, 1963 in Newark, New Jersey, a son of Letha Foster White McKinney of Johnson City and the late William Lish White. Other than his dad, he was preceded in death by his step dad, Lonnie C. McKinney.
He was of the Church of God faith. Willie was loved by everyone. He will be missed so very much. The Lord has taken Willie to help Him with
His work. No more pain or worries for our “Willie Boy”…….how special you are.

Other than his mom, he is survived by two sons: Daniel White and Dustin White and a daughter, Nikki White, all of Elizabethton; two brothers: Steve Foster, Erwin and Doug White, Johnson City; a sister, Angie Peterson and husband, Ronnie, Erwin; Special uncle, Harley Foster, Unicoi; four nieces: Kassie Adler, Kayla Adler, Leslie Foster and special niece, Joye Mullins and husband, Dustin; six nephews: Josh White, John White, Dougie White and special nephews, Chase Foster, John Peterson and Ronnie Peterson; special friends: Phyllis and Len Wright and Jackie Johnson; special pets: Patch and Snoopy. The family would like to say a special thank you to Willie's physician, Dr. Nathan Elliott.

Funeral service for Willie will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2014 from the Erwin Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Ronnie Holloway will officiate.
Active pallbearers will be Ronnie Peterson, Ronnie Peterson, Jr., John Peterson, Dustin Mullins, Harley Foster and Harlen Foster.

The family will receive friends prior to the service between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Friday and other times at the family home.

The committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at White-Haun Cemetery. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 a.m. Saturday.
