WILLIAM LISH WHITE

William Lish White, 70, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, at his residence.
He was a native of Unicoi County and a son of the late Blaine and Myrtle Edney White. He was formerly employed at the National Casket Company.
Survivors include a daughter: Angie Peterson, and husband, Ronnie, Erwin; three sons: William Lee White and Douglas Lish White, both of Johnson City and Jimmy Steven Foster, Erwin; four brothers: Jeff Moody White, Jerry Blaine White and wife, Brenda, Ray White and wife, Joann, Ronnie White and wife, Wanda, all of Erwin; one sister: Mildred Harris, Erwin; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and a special friend: Penny Richardson and family.
Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 30, in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. The Rev. Ralph Crass will officiate and provided vocal selections.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until service time.
Pallbearers will be notified.
Interment will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at White/Haun Cemetery.
