Vivian Hope Weaver, age 88, of Erwin, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016, at the Johnson City Medical Center. Vivian was a native of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Frank Adkins and Juanita White Adkins Campbell. Vivian was a devoted wife, a most precious mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. Mrs. Weaver worked for Coley’s Pharmacy in her early years and later as an inspector at Hoover Ball until she retired. She was a former chaperone to the UCHS “Greatest Band in Dixie”. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Weaver, Jr.; one brother Charles “Butch” Campbell; and one sister Charlotte Weaver.

Elizabeth Weaver Trout, Isaac “Ike” Weaver, Christy Weaver Arnold, and Sam Weaver, IV.
Great-Grandchildren: Chelsey Harness, Chase Harness, Chance Harness, Charity Harness,
Tybre Faw, Grayson Edwards, Austin Edwards, Kaydee Holstein, and Kirsten Annarino;
Great-Great-Grandchild: Zaylynn Holstein
The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we celebrate the life of Vivian Adkins Weaver in a funeral service to be at 7:00 PM, Monday, June 27, 2016 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. Dr. John Kuhne will officiate. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 PM and continue until service time on Monday at Valley Funeral Home and other times at the residence of Julia Weaver Edwards, 815 Fairlane Drive, Erwin. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery. Those attending will meet at Valley Funeral Home on Tuesday by 9:30 AM to go in procession. Serving as pallbearers will be Vivian’s children, grandsons and great grandsons.
