Valerie Ann Millenbach

Valerie Ann Millenbach, age 70, Erwin, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Unicoi County Hospital. She is a daughter of the late Thomas James and Dorothy Vojtush Hogan. Valerie was a native of Detroit, MI, but had lived in Unicoi County since 1980. She was a graduate of Roseville High School.

Valerie received a bachelor’s degree from ETSU and a master’s degree from Radford University. She was a LCSW in which she had a private practice in Erwin for the past twenty years. Valerie was a very kind and selfless lady. Everyone Valerie met was a better person than before she met them. She was an organ donor so she will be helping others even after her passing.

Valerie will be missed by everyone who knew her, especially her husband of fifty years, Richard King Millenbach; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Kristin Millenbach; daughter, Megan Millenbach; four grandchildren: Drew, Richie, Nikki, and Midajah; one great granddaughter, Ava; one brother, Daniel Hogan; one sister, Mary Hogan.

Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 30, 2020 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 657 N. Mohawk Dr., Erwin, TN. Father Tom Charters will officiate. Committal will be held at 1:00 PM in the Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Thursday at St. Michael the Archangel Perish Center.
