Sharon Peake, age 73, of Erwin, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 at Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Erwin, Sharon is a daughter of the late Robert William Clouse and Stanley Lawing Piercy. She was of the Christian faith and loved her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies. In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, James Haskell Peake; her daughter, Lisa Strickland; her sons, Darrell Lyninger and Dennis Lyninger; and a special friend Daniel Strickland.

The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Sharon Peake in a visitation period to be held from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 2, 2020 under the portico in front of Valley Funeral Home. A graveside committal service will follow in Martins Creek Cemetery. Bishop John Edwards will officiate. Those who plan to attend the committal service should meet at Valley Funeral Home by 1:50 pm on Saturday to go in procession. Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Lyninger, Stephen Lyninger, Chase Lung, Michael Strickland, David Lingerfelt, Adam Lingerfelt and J.T. Bollinger.
