RUTH RENFRO MCINTURFF
Ruth Renfro McInturff, 92, 1007 Dry Creek Road, died May 8, 2011 at her home following a brief illness.
She was born October 6, 1918 in Maryville, Tenn. to the late William McKinley and Glee Haun Renfro.
Mrs. McInturff was a homemaker where she loved cooking for her family and working in her garden and flowers. She was a member of the Rock Creek Presbyterian Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death in 2003 by her husband of 65 years, Everette McIntruff; two sons: Ralph McInturff and Donald McInturff; one brother, Howard Renfro; and two sisters: Kathern Honeycutt and Pauline Harris.
Survivors include two daughters: Linda McCulley and Sandra Deakins, both of Erwin; two grandsons: Donald Kammire, Erwin, and Jamie Kammire, Johnson City; one granddaughter, Amy McCulley; three brothers: Buddy Renfro and wife Edna, Mitchell Renfro and wife Carolyn, and Gary Renfro and wife Sherry, all of Kingsport; three sisters: Judy Charles, Rosemary Jennings, both of Fla. and Glenda Nester of Kingsport; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 11, from 1 p.m. until service time at 2:30, at the chapel of Erwin Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral will follow, with Dallas Gregg officiating.
Interment will follow in the Jones Cemetery.
