Paul Thomas Hensley, age 59, 307 Old Highway Road, Erwin, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at his home.
He was born in Welch, W. Va., to the late Forest Clifford and Reva Marie Lewis Hensley, but had lived most of his life in Erwin.
He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Other than parents, Mr. Hensley was preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law, Carroll and Connie Hensley.
Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years: Connie Edwards Hensley; one daughter: Elizabeth Wilson and husband Chuck; two sons: Greg Hensley and fiancee Scyron, Rodney Hensley and wife Angie; three grandchildren: Brianna Hensley, Cheyenne Wilson, and Hope Hensley; one sister: Brenda Watts; two brothers: Jerry Hensley and wife Carole, Dennis Hensley and wife Tammy; one sister-in-law: Brenda Honeycutt, all of Erwin and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Mr. Hensley will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 8, from the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Craig Shelton will officiate.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the family home.
The committal service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 9, in Evergreen Cemetery.
