Paul McKinley Riddle

Paul McKinley Riddle, age 95, Johnson City, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Four Oaks Health Care Center in Jonesbourgh. He was born in Unicoi County to the late William L. and Mollie Gouge Riddle.
Mr. Riddle moved to Johnson City in 1955. He retired in 1982 as a painter at East Tennessee State University after 17 years of service. Mr. Riddle was of the Baptist faith.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son: Baby Macky; one brother: Claude Riddle; former wives: Jean Riddle and Mae Riddle.
Survivors include two sons: Don Wayne Riddle, Jonesbourgh and John Paul Riddle, Erwin; two daughters: Margaret Ann Runion, Jonesbourgh and Barbara Jean Cassidy and husband Robert, Knoxville; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren; one brother: Howard Wayne Riddle, Limestone; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special caregivers: April Riddle, Jonesbourgh and Pat Gunn, Johnson City.
Funeral service for Mr. Riddle will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, in the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel.
Active pallbearers will be Corry Wynn, John Wynn, Doug Wynn and Brian Oliver.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service.
Committal service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Martin’s Creek Cemetery.
