Nancy Hill Sizemore died Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at her home in King, N.C. She was 69.
She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Hill and Belle Pardue. She was born Unicoi County.
Mrs. Sizemore attended Forsyth Technical Institute in Winston-Salem, N.C., and Surry Community College in Dobson, N.C.
She served as PTA president at Thomas Jefferson Academy in Winston-Salem. She was associated with the Home Schoolers Association of North Carolina and the North Carolina Hemophilia Association.
Mrs. Sizemore was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in King, N.C.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sizemore was preceded in death by one brother, Robert “Bobby” Hill; and one grandson, David A. Owens.
Survivors include her daughter, Rachel S. Owens, King, N.C.; one niece, Lisa Hill Sapone, Virginia; several cousins; and her ex-husband, David L. Sizemore.
It was Mrs. Sizemore’s wish to be cremated. A special mass will be held at her church, Wednesday, Jan. 26, at noon. Her ashes will be returned to Tennessee at a later date for a memorial service at that time.
