Mogene Joyce Estep, 78, Erwin, died Monday, April 11, 2011. She was born in Unicoi County and was the daughter of the late Wade H. Kegley and Ada Myrtle Allen Kegley.
Mrs. Estep was always loving and constantly giving of herself to others. She was a member of the Church of Christ on Rock Creek Road.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Roy Lee Estep; one daughter, Jania Elizabeth Tolley; one son, Kevin Lynn McInturff; four brothers, Harold Kegley, Thero Kegley, Lee Kegley and Earl Kegley; and two sisters, Irene Willis and Elizabeth Renfro.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie and David Greene, Erwin; one son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Debora Estep, Erwin; two grandsons, Michael Greene, Erwin and Travis Allen, Erwin; two granddaughters, Stacy Valentine, Erwin, and Laura Weaver and her husband Lee, Counce, Tenn.; eight great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Wade A. Kegley and Wincie Kegley, Erwin; three sisters, Anna Jackson, Erwin, Beatrice Whitson, Erwin and Marie Deyton, Erwin.
Services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum Saturday, April 23, 2011, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Brett Jones will officiate.
