Matthew Lewis Keesecker passed away October 26th in Princeton, West Virginia. He was the son of John and Ann Keesecker of Erwin, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Mark Keesecker in 2007.
He was a graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a degree in Business and Management and was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He was employed by Wal-Mart for over 20 years. He was an active member of his church, especially enjoyed working out-of-doors and generously shared his talent for fixing things with his family, friends, and neighbors.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Daphne, two sons, Ryan Matthew Keesecker and Jordan Lucas Keesecker, one daughter, Bethany Faye Keesecker, three step children: Chelsea, Shayla and Coltin Walls, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at Princeton Church of God, Princeton, West Virginia, on Saturday, November 1st at 3:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until the time of the service.
The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence at the Commital Service which will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Erwin, Tennessee, on Sunday, November 2, 2014. Dr. Ray Sorrells will officiate. Friends and family are encouraged to gather at the Evergreen Mausoleum Chapel for the 2:00 PM service. Pallbearers will be Chris Bogart, Kurt Keesecker, Nathan Keesecker, Mark Douglas Keesecker, Jim Hughes and Jeff Blake.
