Mary Naomi Gobble, 85, of 880 S. Mohawk Drive, formerly of Roswell, Ga., died Sunday, June 19, 2011, at Unicoi County Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Gobble was born March 8, 1926, in Bristol, Tenn. She was the daughter of the late Green and Arlene Mays Wright. She had been a resident of Unicoi County for six years.
Mrs. Gobble was a member of Unicoi Church of God.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Davenport Gobble in 1989.
Survivors include her daughter Polly A. Roe and husband Bob Sahli, of Unicoi; step-daughter, Clara Ruth Booher and husband Bill, of Bristol, Va.; step-son, Luke Gobble and wife Emma Jean, of Virginia; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Dan Wright, White Plains, Ga., Noah Wright and wife Frances, of Bristol, Tenn.; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; sister-in-law, Nola Wright, Bristol, Tenn.
No formal visitation or services have been announced.
