Mary Lee Wilson, age 80, died at her home with her loving family by her side Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2011.
Mrs. Wilson was a native of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Robert H. and Josie Salts Randolph.
She was a seamstress. She attended West Park Street Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Ward Paul Wilson Sr.; brothers, Olen and Earl Randolph; and sister, Cora Tolley.
Survivors include her daughters, Connie Harrell and husband, Lecil, Donna Hayes and husband, Roger, and Teresa Higgins and husband, Mitchell, all of Erwin; sons, Ward P. Wilson Jr. and wife, Sandy, Randy Wilson and wife, Lisa, and Robert Allen Wilson of Erwin; sisters, Trula Foster and Betty Effler and husband, Donald, all of Erwin; grandchildren, Katrina Love and husband, Tony, Robbie Carathers and wife, April, Michael Carathers and girlfriend, Crystal, Misty Lane and husband, Billy, Jamie Wilson and girlfriend, Chelsey Barnes, who stayed by her side, Jason Wilson and Katrina, Christopher Wilson and wife, Whitney, Brian Harrell and Hope, and Rebecca McBee and Cameron; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at  2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at West Park Street Church. The Rev. Dennis Walls officiated. Vocal selections were provided by Jamie Wilson. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery.
Mary’s grandsons served as pallbearers.
Valley Funeral Home was in charge.
