Mary Ann Bailey Jackson

Mary Ann Bailey Jackson, age 70, of Erwin, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center Hospital. She was a native of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Elbert and Mary A. McKinney Bailey. Mary was formerly employed by Morrell Motors as an operator for twelve years. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by two sisters: Alma Fender and Sherry Tipton.

Brother: Richard Bailey and wife, Dottie of Weaverville NC
Sister: Freda Ambrose of Erwin
Grandchildren: Jason McNally, Christopher Wilson, Hali Cox, Curtis Crain, Katie Crain and Cory Crain
Great-Grandchildren: Alexis McNally and Ashlyn McNally
Several Nieces and Nephews including Attentive Niece, Kim Woodby of Jonesborough

A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 PM and continue until 7:00 PM on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Valley Funeral Home. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence at a funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Mary Ann Bailey Jackson to be at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home on Friday. Reverend Noah Taylor and Reverend Earl Ragland will officiate. Vocal selections will be provided by Christopher Wilson. A committal service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Mausoleum Chapel of Evergreen Cemetery. Those who will attend will meet at Valley Funeral Home by 9:30 AM on Saturday to go in procession to Evergreen Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Gary Ambrose, Darrell Ambrose, Greg Ambrose, Ricky Woodby, Curtis Crain, and Ronnie Cox.
