Marshall Greg Poff, age 66, of Erwin, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at his home. Born on March 2, 1948 in Beckley, W. VA, Greg was a son of the late Thomas J. Poff and Myra James Poff of Floyd, VA. He proudly served in the United States Army. He formerly worked at the Unicoi County Sheriffs Department and he retired from Premier Refractories. He attended Erwin Church of God.

Several nieces and nephews including special nephew John Broyles.
The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we honor and remember the life of Marshall Greg Poff in a funeral service to be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, May 16, 2014 in the chapel of Valley Funeral Home with Pastor Parker Street, Reverend Donnie Roberts and Reverend Joey Murdock officiating. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until service time on Friday at Valley Funeral Home. A graveside committal service with military graveside honors will Follow at Mountain Home National Cemetery on Friday. Pallbearers will be notified.
