Lois Ann (Harding) Tipton, age 80, of Flag Pond, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at her home. A native of Erwin, Lois is a daughter of the late William Guy and Mollie Ann (Rice) Harding. She was a member of Sweetwater Church of God, where she sang in the choir and taught the young children’s class during Vacation Bible School. She enjoyed keeping the home and loved cooking and talking with her friends. In addition to her parents, Lois is preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy “Dot” Harding.

The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Lois Ann (Harding) Tipton in a graveside committal service to be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 30, 2021in Evergreen Cemetery. Reverend Craig Shelton will officiate. Those attending should meet at Valley Funeral Home by 9:30 am on Saturday, January 30, 2021 to go in procession. Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Tipton, Jared Tipton, Nickie Simmons, John Simmons, Tim Tipton, Anthony Tipton, Terry Crum, Dwayne Pate, and Hunter Pate.
