Linda Kay Bryant Gardner, 66, 137 Springbrook Road, Unicoi, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Gardner was a native of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Floyd and Louise Ford Bryant. Survivors include her devoted husband of 49 years, Homer Gardner; two sons: Randy Gardner and Mark Gardner, all of Unicoi; three granddaughters: Katie Gardner, Ali Gardner, and Chelsey Gardner, all of Erwin; two brothers: her twin, Roger Bryant, Essex, Md., and Larry Bryant, Stanleyville, N.C.; one sister: Ann Ferris and husband, Ken, Winston Salem, N.C., and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 27, in Roselawn Memory Gardens. The Rev.
Bobby Campbell officiated. Active pallbearers were Chris Gardner, Shane Gardner, Bart Gardner, Spud Sears, Keith Booth, and Justin Booth. Honorary pallbearers were Mark Gardner, Randy Gardner,
Larry Bryant, Jerry Perkins, Roger Gardner and Wade Gardner.
Unicoi Funeral Home was in charge.
