Lidia Isabiel Ruiz-Verdugo

Lidia Isabiel Ruiz-Verdugo, age 26, of Erwin, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Johnson City Medical Center, following a brief illness.  A native of Navojoa Sonora, Mexico, Iza is a daughter of Fernando Ruiz and Lidia Verdugo-Gastelum. She was and LPN and had been an employee of Ivy Hall Nursing Home since 2015.  Iza was the nicest person to everyone.  She never thought twice about lending a helping hand.  She had the most beautiful and contagious smile.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Johnson City. Iza loved make-up and shopping.

The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute to the life of Lidia Isabiel Ruiz-Verdugo in a Funeral Mass to be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 6:00 pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Father Jesus Guerrero will officiate.  A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 22, 2020 and will continue until service time at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  A graveside committal service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, October 23, 2020 in Evergreen Cemetery.  Those attending should meet at Evergreen Cemetery by 9:50 am for the service.

In accordance with Covid-19 recommendations, those planning to attend services are requested to wear a protective face covering and practice social distancing.
