Kathy Ann Pinkston, 53, 5005 Simerly Creek Road, Unicoi, passed away Friday, March 18, 2011 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
She was born May 19, 1957 in Erwin. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to all.
She was preceded in death by her father, R.M. Miller; sister, Freda Collins; and one niece, Crystal Collins.
Mrs. Pinkston is survived by her husband, Robert Pinkston; daughter, Makayla Leanne Pinkston, of the home; two sons, Steve Hartley and wife Jessica of Limestone and Kelvin Hartley and wife Amanda of Telford; five grandchildren, Kailey Hartley, Kai Hartley, Kaden Hartley, Kelvin Hartley, and Lois Hartley; mother, Yvonne Smith Miller, of Hampton; one sister, Lesia Bradley, of Hampton; one brother, Ronnie Miller, of Hampton; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 20, from the Unicoi Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dallas Gregg, the Rev. Randy Gobble and the Rev. Ronald Tabor officiating.
Internment was held Monday, March 21, at Woodby Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Steve Hartley, Kelvin Hartley, Rick Hyder, Ronald Hyder, Mike Eckman, and Butch Pinkston. Honorary pallbearers were Gene Miller and Norman Miller.
Unicoi Funeral Home was in charge.
