Judy Pippin Haun Honeycutt

Judy Pippin Haun Honeycutt, age 71, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late James Horace and Mary Hazel Mauk Pippin. She was a member of Fishery Community Church and was a loving homemaker. Judy loved to cook for her family, especially during the holidays, to garden, watch football, and enjoyed her cats. In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her first husband Samuel Haun and a sister, Katie Jones.

A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will be held from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Fishery Community Church, 501 Fishery Community Church Road, Erwin, TN 37650. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Judy in a funeral service to be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Fishery Community Church. Reverend Rusty Wishon will officiate. Vocal selections will be provided. A graveside committal service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be notified. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX, 75265, to the Unicoi County Animal Shelter, 185 N. Industrial Drive, Erwin, TN 37650, or to Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
