Johnnie Sue Goodman

With great sadness, the family of Johnnie Sue Goodman announces her passing on September 20, 2017.  She has left her earthly home to spend eternity in Heaven.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. (Skip) Goodman, Sr.; parents, John and Inez Kincer Wilburn, and brother, Richard (Bud) Wilburn.
Johnnie is survived by her son, Jim Goodman and wife, Linda of Lenoir City; daughter, Pam Amos and husband, Gary of Erwin; granddaughter, Laura Freshour and husband, T. J. of Greeneville; great-grandchildren, Brady Thomas Freshour and Ava Claire Freshour; sisters, Frances Wampler, Nancy (Mickey) Hall, Linda Yam and Ann Covington; brother, Max (Carlene) Wilburn; sisters-in-law, Violet Wilburn and Betty Goodman.
Funeral services were held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City, TN and the graveside service was Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 240 Adams Street, Erwin, TN 37650 for the JOY class to use with their Gleaning project which is given to IMB for World Hunger.
The family extends a special thanks to Governor’s Bend Assisted Living staff and friends, Unicoi County Long Term Carr II staff and nurses, the Physical Therapy  Dept. of LTC, Avalon Hospice, and Valley Funeral Home for all their love, care and support.  A special thanks to Click Funeral Home staff who met our every need.  As a Christian family, we thank all of our friends and our church families who extended their love and encouragement in different ways to us during this sad time.
