Janice Crowder Cox, loving wife, mother and grandmother, 70, of Erwin, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at Johnson City Medical Center. She born in Newport News, VA and was a native of Highpoint, NC and was a daughter of the late Jack and Loretta Cox Crowder. Janice worked in telecommunications in High Point, NC and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by sisters, Priscilla “Chippy” McNabb and Pam Sloop.
Janice Cox has left behind to cherish her memories:
Husband: Terry L. Cox of Erwin;
Sons: Jody Cox of Erwin,
Heath Cox and wife, Monica of Rockford, IL;
Grandchildren: Lindsay Cox, Jordan Cox, Sam Cox, Reese Cox, and Maggie Riddle;
One loved as a daughter: Laura Riddle;
Sister: Jackie Spoon of High Point, NC
The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we celebrate the life of Janice Crowder Cox in a memorial service to be at 7:00 PM, Friday, August 5, 2016 in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Reverend Shannon Deaton will officiate. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 6:00 PM and continue until service time on Friday at Valley Funeral Home.
