Mrs. Rasnick was a hand-painter at Southern Pottery. She was a member of Evergreen Free Will Baptist Church. Hazel was a founding member of Blue Ridge Pottery Club. She was a Clinchfield Senior Citizens member where she enjoyed playing games and participated in various activities. Hazel loved to travel and visited every state with the exception of Alaska and North Dakota.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Manson Jonas “M. J.” Rasnick on December 28, 1990.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, one son, James Rasnick and wife, Cindy, Johnson City; two grandchildren: Rebecca Rasnick and Abby Rasnick.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. until the hour of service on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Gene Deaton will officiate at the 8:00 P. M. funeral service. A private family committal service will be held.
