Harold M. Street

Harold M. Street, age 78, passed away Sat., June 6, 2015 surrounded by his family at the Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, FL. Born Nov. 16, 1936 in Unicoi, TN., He married the love of his life Ruth Saltz Lewis (Jeri) on Oct. 4, 1955 in Greenville, SC. Moving to Florida in1958 they enjoyed traveling, golfing, boating and his family and friends. He was able to travel to places and do things most people only dreamed of doing. He worked several jobs including the Ford Motor Plant in Flint MI, the Southern Bread Co. in Orlando but was most known as “Mr. Pepsi” for his years working at National Beverages/Pepsi Cola Orlando, Nashville and Tampa. Harold enjoyed working with NASCAR, Daytona & Talladega Speedways, Cypress Gardens, Retail Grocers Association, Florida Bottlers and many charities including “Give Kids The World” and “The Russell Home for Atypical Children”. He was owner and operator of Classic Sportswear Inc. Preceded in death by father, William M. Street, mother, Gertha L. McInturff Street, sister, Billie “Joyce” Elk and survived by his wife: Jeri, Children: Debbie (Mike) Snider, Rick (Sherry) Street, Todd Street: Grandchildren: Andrea (Dave) Tirpak, Ryan (Leah) Snider, Cody Street, Austin Street and Great grand daughter, Riley Snider. Tuesday, June 9th, 2015 Visitation and Funeral was held at the Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 994 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs, FL. Family Graveside Service was held on Wednesday, June 10th, 2015 at the Highland Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to The Russell Home for Atypical Children, 510 Holden Ave, Orlando, FL 32839
