Harold H. Hendrix, Jr.

Harold H. Hendrix, Jr., age 84, of Erwin, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015 at his residence. He was a native of Unicoi County and a son of the late Harold Sr. and Maude Strickland Hendrix. He served in Germany with the United States Air Force. Mr. Hendrix was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and also on several committees. He served as Chief of Food Production for the VA Medical Center. In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by a brother, Jim Hendrix.
Harold Hendrix, Jr. has left behind to cherish him memories:

Katie Hendrix of Johnson City;
5 Great Grandchildren;
Several Nieces and Nephews;
Sister-in-law: Ellen Delgado of Erwin;
Many special friends that meant so much to him. The family extends their sincere appreciation for their love and support offered during this time.

A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 12:00 PM and continue until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Valley Funeral Home. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Harold H. Hendrix, Jr. in a funeral service to be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Reverend David Crutchfield and Reverend Bernie Jones will officiate. Vocal selections will be provided by Gary Amos. A committal service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery on Wednesday with military honors provided by the United States Air Force. Members of the Regular Fellows Sunday School Class will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial donations be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Christian Life Center Fund, 540 Adams Street, Erwin, TN 37650.
