She retired from Industrial Garment where she was employed as a seamstress. Gladys was a member of Canah Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and attended Embreville Church of Christ for many years. She enjoyed planting flowers and working in her flower garden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Claude Frazier and her second husband, Clarence Wilson; two brothers: Virgil and Junior Bailey.
Gladys leaves behind to cherish her memory, one son, Ronnie Frazier and wife, Elaine, Erwin; one daughter, Vicky Reynolds and husband, Eddie, Bethlehem, NC; five brothers: James Bailey and wife, Priscilla, Harlan Bailey, Ted Bailey, Verlin Bailey and wife, Faye, all of Erwin, Eb Bailey and wife, Betty, Johnson City; two sisters: Blanche Blankenship and Dollie Gilbert, both of Erwin; one grandson, Ronnie Frazier, Jr. and wife, Kayla; four granddaughters: Casey Curry and husband, Brandon, Tiffany Ramseur and husband, Dontea, Lauren Reynolds and Kimberly Reynolds; three great-grandsons: Jacob Fraizer, Caleb Engle and Cayden Curry; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P. M. until the hour of service on Monday, April 2, 2018 at the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Eddie Reynolds and Pastor Terry Richardson will officiate at the 7:00 P. M. funeral service. Music will be provided by Eddie Reynolds. Committal service will be held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday in the Bumpus Cove Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 10:45 A. M. Tuesday.
