Geneva McNabb, age 92, of West Park Street, Erwin, died Wednesday evening, Jan. 12, 2011, at Unicoi County Memorial Hospital.  
Mrs. McNabb was born Sept. 8, 1918, in Lost Cove, N.C. She was retired from Hoover Universal. She was the daughter of the late Landon D. and Usley Hensley Tipton.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Harry McNabb, who died in 1970.  
Survivors include two daughters, Tammy McNabb and husband, James Leonard, and Eldora Lee “Pug” McNabb, all of Erwin; one son, James Wiley McNabb and wife, Janet, Erwin; three grandchildren, Lori C. McNabb-Robson and husband Joe, Joshua M. McNabb, and Adam R. McNabb and wife Sarah; one great-grandson, Kellen Wyeth McNabb-Robson; one sister, Edna Mae Robbins, Erwin; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her guardian, Kallie.
Funeral services were conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Autrey officiating.
Committal services were held at noon Saturday, Jan. 15, at Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. McNabb’s nephews served as active pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.
