Frank Toney Trey Parsley, III, age 16, of 609 N. Mohawk Drive, Erwin, passed away on November 10, 2013. Trey was a native of Unicoi County and the son of Frank Toney Parsley, Jr. and Jan Hendren Bradley. He was a sophomore at Unicoi County High School where he was a member of the Golf team, Future Farmers of America, BETA Club, and the Unicoi County High School Hiking Club. Trey was an A Honor Student for each of his 10 years in school. He enjoyed traveling, riding his motorcycle, playing golf, hiking, being outdoors, and cruising in his truck. Trey was a great friend, brother, son, and grandson. He was a member of Erwin Presbyterian Church. Trey is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Joe and Barbara Hendren; maternal uncle, Lee Hendren; paternal grandfather, Frank Toney Parsley, Sr.

The life of Frank Toney Trey Parsley, III will be remembered and honored in a funeral service at 7:30 P.M., Thursday, November 14, 2013, in the Auditorium of the Unicoi County High School. Reverend Stan Webster will officiate. Robert F. Parsley, Carter Powers, Garrison Dula, and Lucas Anders will provide eulogies. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 PM and continue until the service time on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Unicoi County High School. A graveside committal service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 11:00 A.M at Evergreen Cemetery. Those who will attend are asked to meet at Valley Funeral Home on Friday by 10:30 A.M. Serving as active pallbearers are Aaron Bradley, Jared Bradley, Jason Stapleton, Garrison Dula, Dalton Cutshall, and Roland Banks. Members of the Unicoi County High School Golf team will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations be made to the Unicoi County High School Agriculture Department c/o of Lucas Anders, 100 Okolona Drive, Erwin, TN 37650.
