Frances Aline Phillips, age 102, of Erwin, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Center on Aging and Health. A native of Unicoi County, Aline is a daughter of the late Thomas Warren and Mattie (Booth) Phillips. She was a lifelong member of Erwin Presbyterian Church. She was employed by Redcap, where she was a secretary for over 40 years. In addition to her parents, Aline is preceded in death by her sister, Thelma Eloise Phillips, her best friend, Dot Shelton and her beloved dog, Cody.

The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Frances Aline Phillips in a graveside committal service to be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, in Job Cemetery. Dr. Stan Webster will officiate. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will be held from 9:30 am until 10:30 am on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Valley Funeral Home. Those attending the committal service should meet at Valley Funeral Home by 10:30 am to go in procession to the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Aline’s name to the Unicoi County Animal Shelter, 185 N Industrial Dr. Erwin, TN 37650.
