Eva Elizabeth Banner

Eva Elizabeth Banner, age 89, of Erwin, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2015, at the Unicoi County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care. She was a native of Erwin and a daughter of the late Fred C. and Ella Day Brown. Eva was employed with Blue Ridge Pottery Company until their closure and later retired from Hoover Ball after twenty three years of service. Eva was a faithful member of Erwin First Pentecostal Holiness Church, serving in many different areas. In addition to her parents, Eva is preceded in death by her husband, C. Venton Banner, brothers: Floyd, Carrol and Clifford, sisters: Hazel and Wilma

The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Eva Elizabeth Banner in a funeral service to be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 18, 2015, in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Reverend Earl Ragland will officiate. Vocal selections will be provided by Loretta Ollis. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 12:00 PM, and will continue until the service time at Valley Funeral Home on Sunday. A committal service will follow to the Mausoleum Chapel of Evergreen Cemetery.
