Elizabeth Louise Renfro Proctor, 76, of 326 Opekiska St., died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Erwin and the daughter of the late Charles Vernon and Anna Mae Bennett Fowler.
Mrs. Proctor was a member of Hulen Baptist Church. She loved to spend time with family and friends, listen to gospel and country music, especially Conway Twitty, and found great joy in making others happy.
She was employed with Texas Instruments and Plassco, as well as being a loving homemaker.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by a daughter: Debbie Renfro, and brothers: Charles, Jack, and Frank Fowler.
Survivors include a daughter: Angela Renfro, Elizabethton; sons: Bryan Re, Erwin; brother: Scott Fowler, Erwin; sister: Dolores Mathes, Alliance, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 19, at 7 p.m., in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. The Rev. Ferrell Peterson officiated. Musical selections were under the direction of Jeff and Nola Peterson.
The committal service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 1 p.m., at Evergreen Cemetery. Those who will be attending will meet at Valley Funeral Home by 12:30 p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be notified.
