Elizabeth Faye Edwards, 66, of 290 Blaine White Road, Erwin, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Minnie Wynn Farley.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by two daughters: Patricia Edwards and Lisa Edwards; one sister: Leona Farley; three brothers: Robert Wynn, Ray Farley, and John Farley.
Survivors include her husband: Dillard Edwards, Erwin; two daughters: Penny Ann Richardson and husband, Gregory Wayne, Telford and Ruth Nioka Barnett and husband, Richie, Unicoi; three sons: Travis Mahala, Erwin, Roger Mahala, Sevierville, and Jonathan Mahala, Damaskas, Va.; seven grandchildren, including a special granddaughter: Serenity May Richardson; one great grandson; three brothers: Eugene Farley, Linnie Farley and Jim Farley, all of Evarts, Ky.; four sisters: Frances Knapp and husband, Ray, Masey Keith and Victoria Carver, all of Erwin; Magalene Shelton and husband, Cline, Marshall, N.C.; several nephews and nieces; and a special friend, William L. White, Erwin.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 16, in the Haun-White Cemetery, Erwin. Pallbearers were Greg Richardson, Richard Patten, Travis Mahala, Allen Patten, Brandon Patten, Ray Knapp, Jimmy Farley and Colton Foster.
Robert Ledford Funeral Home was in charge.
