Dianna Ledford Park

Dianna Ledford Park, age 62, 729 Pickens Bridge Road, Piney Flats, went home to be with the Lord at 2:45 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2013, at her home. She was born January 16, 1951 in Erwin. Dianna was a loving and devoted mom, memaw, daughter and sister. She was an avid horse lover, loved life, and wanted to live life to the fullest. Dianna was strong and independent, a beautiful lady with a warm, loving heart and soul. She will always be remembered but never forgotten by those who knew her. Her smile could brighten your day, her words soothe your soul. All we know is it's hard to let her go.

Dianna was an interior designer and was owner of Lady Di's Interior Contracting.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert F. Ledford, Sr; grandson, Elijsha McKade Martin; half brother, Robert F. Ledford, Jr.

Dianna is survived by two daughters: Keisha Street Martin, and boyfriend, Brian Pullen, Bristol, Jeremia Desiree Haun, and boyfriend, Chad Whittamore, Piney Flats; mother, Pauline Hughes Ledford, Johnson City, three grandchildren: Dakota Noel Ramsey, Isaiah McKade Martin, Jackson Seth Gabriel Haun; one great grandchild, Elijsha Kaden Blue McAllister; two sisters: Priscilla Bennett, and Hilda Moody, both of Johnson City; four half sisters: Robin Bohin, Bobbie Ledford, Martha Harris, and Kristie Ledford; three nephews: Jimmy Bennett, Andrew Back, Gregory Harris, five nieces: Brianna “Bria” Moody, Victoria Ledford, Natalie Bohin, Olivia Ledford, and Jessica Edwards; one great nephew, Jude Charles Marshall; earth daughters, Andrea and Jama, both of Johnson City; and step-mother, Betty E. Ledford, Erwin.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 25, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Robert Ledford Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held Friday, April 26, 2013, at 3:00 pm in Huntdale Cemetery, Green Mountain, NC. Reverend Bernie Jones will officiate.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those attending the graveside are asked to meet at the funeral home by 1:45 p.m. Friday to go in procession to the cemetery.
