Claude Michael Gouge

Mike Gouge 07 13 2016Claude Michael Gouge, Okeechobee FL, formerly of Erwin passed away on July 1, 2016 at Ocala Veterans Hospital

Mike was the son of Sidney and Betty Gouge of Erwin. He was a graduate of Unicoi County High School and Northeast State Technical College. He was an avid fisherman

and spent thirty years as a professional fishing guide on Lake Okeechobee FL. He operated “Tennessee’s Guide Service” until his retirement. He was also a welder and pipefitter and a member of United Steelworkers Union.

He was preceded in death by his father Sidney Gouge. Mr. Gouge is survived by his mother Betty Jo Gouge of Erwin; a brother Mark Gouge of Bristol TN; Two children Betsy Moston and husband Scott of Bristow, Va.; Jeff Gouge of Johnson City TN; one granddaughter Shelby Moston; and a special friend Fran Hettinger of Ocala Fl.

A private service will be held in Okeechobee FL.,
