Buckley D. Church

Buckley D. Church, age 80, 467 Highway 107, Jonesborough passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at his residence. He was a Carter County native but lived most of his life in Jonesborough. He was a son of the late Howard and June Potter Church. Mr. Church was a United States Army veteran. He was co-owner of Jones and Church Farms. Mr. Church attended Seviers Methodist Church. He was a member of the Unicoi Masonic Lodge #681 F&AM and Jericho Shrine Temple. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, David Church.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories two sons: Michael Church and wife, Rosaelia, Gregory Church and wife, Amy all of Unicoi; one step- daughter, Candy Coffee, Jonesborough; one adopted daughter, Carmen Coffee, Jonesborough; one sister, Blanquita Miller, Unicoi; five grandchildren: Samuel Church, Carina Church, Joshua Church, Lacy Church and Caleb Church. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 6:00 P. M. until the hour of service at the Unicoi Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Rance Edwards will officiate at the 8:00 P. M. funeral service. Music will be provided by Inez Chandler. Carl Jones, Roy Miller, Estil Ingram, Bryon Wiggand, Andres Carmona, Adeliado Ramirez, Jesus Saldana and Enrique Ponce will be serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Anderson, Gene Treadway, George Lowe, Ira Jones and Sherman Dulaney. Committal service will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 10:00 A. M. from the Roselawn Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend please assemble at the Unicoi Funeral Home by 9:30 A. M. on Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made in Mr. Church's memory to Shriner's Hospital For Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605-4277.
