Brian Stewart Barron, 28, died Saturday, July 2, 2011, following a work accident. He was born on February 18, 1983 in Johnson City, and was the son of Red and Marijane Barron of Unicoi.
Mr. Barron was a loyal son, grandson, father, husband, uncle and friend. He loved hunting, nature and wildlife. He will always be remembered for his tremendous smile that could light up any room.
He was an employee of Centurylink with four years of service. He was a member of Hales Chapel Christian Church.
Other than his parents, survivors include his loving wife, Christie Gresham Barron; 3-year-old son, Luke James; 3-week-old daughter, Ally Ann; sister, Beth Barron Street of Unicoi; brother, Blake Barron and wife Jama of Limestone; grandmothers, Betty Garland of Unicoi and Marie Barron of Chattanooga; father-in-law, James Gresham, and mother-in-law, Linda, of Gray; sister-in-laws, Brigitte Howell and husband Jeff of Gray, Ginger Wilcox and husband Josh of Morristown; several nieces and nephews, including Baylee, Brady, Macy, Ava, Sophia and Grant; and special aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 5-9 p.m., at Hales Chapel Christian Church in Gray. A celebration of life ceremony will take place on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Unicoi Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens.
Active pallbearers are Blake Barron, Nick Lingerfelt, Scott Saylor, Robert Wilson, Robert Page, Doug Garland, Wes Brown, Adam Garland and Chad Harris.
Honorary pallbearers are Philip Wolfe, Jeff Howell, Josh Wilcox, Bo Adams, Nick Garland, Garrison Dula, Brandon Garland, Rudy Garland, Gene Garland, Dean Garland, Bart Ray and Dave Haynes, and Josh Harris.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to any Green Bank, in honor of his children, Luke and Ally Barron.
