Brenda Sue Willis

Brenda Sue Willis, age 67, 425 Coffee Ridge Road, Erwin, died Friday, May 30, 2014, in the Johnson City Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Buster Oskco and Amanda Jones Price. Ms. Willis was a former employee of Industrial Garment and owner of Brenda's Variety Shop. She attended Coffee Ridge Baptist prior to her illness. Other than her parents, Ms. Willis was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Dean Willis in 1997, a daughter, Denise Willis, four brothers: Donny Price, Grady Price, Dean Price and Kelly Price; one sisters, Sheila Thomas.

Survivors include, one son, Kurtis Harris, Tacoma, Washington; one daughter, Kim Harris, Erwin; two brothers: Denver Price and wife, Virginia; Victor Price and wife, Nancy, all of Erwin; five sisters; Greta Foster, Ann Ledford-Walker; Lane Harris and husband, J. M., all of Erwin; Glenna Tipton and husband, Everet of Unicoi; Debra Bradshaw Greenville; two grandsons: Kurtis Dean Harris, Kaiden James Harris; three granddaughters: Brandy Gosnell, Ashley Harless, Tabitha Harris; three great grandsons; four great granddaughters, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service for Mrs. Willis will be held at 1:00 P. M. Tuesday, June 3, 2014, from the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Brad Willis will officiate. Pallbearers will be Nickle Sams, Conway Sams, Freddy Sams, David Sams, Tim Ledford, and David Weaver. The family will receive friends Tuesday, prior to the funeral service, between the hours of from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Committal service will be immediately following in the Tilson Mountain Cemetery.
