Billie “Aunt Dener” Bottomley

Billie “Aunt Dener” Bottomley, 84, of Fruitland Park passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Mrs. Bottomley was born August 16, 1932 in Erwin, TN to Carlos W. and Venia (McKinney) Bailey. She moved here in 1958 from Dade City and was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church in Fruitland Park. Aunt Dener was a retired Pharmacy Technician working for HPI at Leesburg General Hospital and then for the Medicine Chest in Lady Lake. She loved her church and Bible study. Survivors include her brother, Carlos Bailey of Wildwood; sisters, Blanche Jean “Maggie” Tate of Lady Lake, Charlotte Shelley (Bill) of Erwin, TN and Barbara Anderson of Fruitland Park; nieces and nephews, Steve Nave, Shafter Nave, Lester Tate (Cheri), Kathy Hilemon (Ron), Chris Shelley (Pam), Gary Shelley (Susie), Elizabeth Anderson, Dan Anderson, Carla Bailey (Winston), Terri Alsobrook (Kendell),  Jeanie Williams (Dave), Randy Williams, Stephanie Moriarity, Mary Ann Davis (Jessie). She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Bottomley and two sisters, Laura Thomas and Evelyn Williams. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00pm, Sunday in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:00am, Monday, April 24, 2017 in the Trinity Assembly of God Church, Fruitland Park. Interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery, Fruitland Park.
