BETTY LOU HOILMAN

Betty Lou Hoilman, 69, of Erwin, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Arthur and Florence Harris Coggins.
She retired from Industrial Garment/Red Cap Industries in 2000 following 35 years of service.
Mrs. Hoilman was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Erwin. She volunteered with the American Cancer Society and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was a Prayer Warrior and quietly went about helping and serving others.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by a special brother-in-law, Robert Day; brother, Henry Coggins; and sister, Juanita Miller.
Survivors include: her husband, Howard Hoilman, Erwin; son: Tracy Hoilman and wife, Tracy of Erwin; sisters: Gail Day of Erwin, and Lucille Strange of Rockledge, Ala.; granddaughter: Chelsea Hoilman, Erwin; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family was Sunday, April 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. The committal service followed at Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel.
The Rev. Earl Ragland officiated. Vocal selections were provided by Jamie Hughes and James Hughes.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Howard Ollis, J.P. Street, Doug Staley, Coy Faulkner, Jamie Hughes, and Stewart Blankenship.
